According to this article from Yahoo Business from January of this year, Microsoft is projecting its Security arm to do more than $20 Billion this year. This target is a double of its $10 Billion revenue of 2021, and 33% year over year increase! Just incredible numbers and extreme execution of their focused vision.
Just look at the below Cyber Security Reference Architecture from 2021; there is constant growth amongst all of the Security Product Lines. If you highlight on the “Information Protection” section you will see the name Azure Purview which has been rebranded to Microsoft Purview as a holistic Hybrid Cloud Compliance, Governance, and Security platform!
For this series we will start with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, which provides advanced endpoint protection for Windows, macOS,Linux, iOS, and Android devices. Our blog post will explain the various features of Defender for Endpoint, including antivirus, firewall, and endpoint detection and response (EDR), and how it can help businesses detect and respond to cyber threats.
