Once again, Microsoft Security is leading from the forefront when it comes to its competitors in the Endpoint protection space! The recent release of the 2022 Gartner Magic Quadrant showed Microsoft Defender for Endpoint as a leading executor and the SECOND most visionary product slightly behind Crowdstrike! As the article states ” Microsoft Defender for Endpoint is an industry-leading, cloud-powered endpoint security solution offering endpoint protection, endpoint detection and response, mobile threat defense, and integrated vulnerability management.”
Why is Defender for Endpoint rising above?
As organizations look to consolidate tools and reduce administrative costs, they will inherently look to their current product landscape. What Platform resides with over 1 million companies around the globe and nearly 150 THOUSAND in the United States! This means that Microsoft will be an obvious vendor of choice. Realistically, how many of those 1 million customers are thinking about moving AWAY from the Microsoft 365 platform? As an organization, it makes more sense to “eat more of the pie” as they say! And Microsoft has made an enormous investment to ensure that the entire Defender Platform is innovating at light speed to meet customer expectations now and in the future.
What makes up the Defender for Endpoint Platform?
